AFTER THE FALL was an experimental project for the outdoor ELEMENTS GALLERY curated by Rebecca Feiner at Lubomirov Angus Hughes Gallery in Hackney, east London.

On the 17th February a large sculptural installation based on the artist’s fingerprint was burnt in the yard. The event itself and the material left behind after the fire were then used as a catalyst to create a series of new installations exploring ideas about fragility, resilience and identity. The work was developed during a three month residency at the gallery.

AFTER THE FALL was largely autobiographical. In 2013 the artist suffered a serious accident which was followed by a period of depression and the work is an investigation of that experience. The work incorporates film, animation, sound, photography, performance and sculpture.
